For couples that want more for their relationships
Online couples therapy

It’s incredibly disorienting and painful to get stuck in a negative cycle of interacting with your partner.
Maybe you’re having the same arguments over and over again, but never getting anywhere.
Maybe you’re walking on eggshells with each other, feeling more like roommates than partners.
Maybe you’ve experienced a betrayal that has shaken the foundation of your life together.
Using EFT, I’ll help you identify and understand the negative cycle of communication that keeps you and your partner both feeling stuck and isolated.
These cycles often take on a life of their own, leaving partners lost in a current of confusion and hurt.
We’ll make sense of where you’ve been stuck and chart a path through the chaos. Together, we’ll discover the painful feelings that fuel your negative cycle. You’ll develop understanding and empathy for each other and create a new way of relating that is safer, closer, and more satisfying. You can find your way to one another and connect deeply.

Why EFT?
Put simply, EFT works. It is the most effective relational therapy ever studied, creating long-term, stable, positive change between couples. Research has shown that couples report feeling more understood, better able to navigate conflict, and closer and more secure with much higher satisfaction in their relationships following treatment using EFT.
If you need help navigating challenges in your relationship, I’d love to connect with you and answer any questions you have as you consider couples therapy.

Every relationship is different, and timelines vary depending on relationship history, communication styles, emotional expression, and the presence of trauma. From the start, my goal will be to work with you and your partner to identify the stuck place in your relationship and guide you into secure connection using a well-researched clinical map. At any time during our work together, I’ll be happy to discuss where we are in the process and where we’re headed.

I often work with couples where there is some hesitation or nervousness around couples therapy in the beginning. Most of the time, that nervousness goes away by the end of the first session as partners get a sense that we’re all working toward the same goals.
In our consultation call, we can talk about your specific situation and determine what makes the most sense. Sometimes, individual therapy is a great place to start. I can help you explore and put into words your emotional stuck points and communicate them to your partner in a more cohesive way. For many, this process of self-exploration is a really good start to improving connection and communication in your relationship.

Yes, it can! Many of us do experience ourselves as less ‘emotional’ than others, but we are all sending and receiving emotional signals in relationships, whether we realize it or not. We can work together to understand your signals and unscramble the message so that you can get the closeness, security, and contentment you want in your relationship.
